Fiesta Bean Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz.) refried beans
  • 2 tbsp. taco seasoning mix
  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp. chopped cilantro
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup Friendship Dairies sour cream
  • 1/2 cup corn and black bean salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheese blend
  • Sliced black olives
  • Tortilla chips

Directions

  1. In small pan mix beans and taco seasoning. Cook over medium heat until hot all the way through. Spread bean mixture in bottom of serving dish; set aside. In small bowl, prepare guacamole using avocados, lime juice, cilantro, minced garlic and salt, mashing until smooth. Spread guacamole evenly over bean layer. Top with Friendship Dairies sour cream then salsa. Sprinkle with cheese and olives. Garnish with lime peel and serve with tortilla chips.
