Ingredients

  • 2 cups Friendship Dairies® 1% cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/2 banana, cut into slices
  • 12 macadamia nuts, chopped

Directions

  1. Place cottage cheese, honey and orange zest in the bowl of the blender, then blend first on low, and increase speed to high to puree completely, and drizzle in water. If needed, keep pushing cottage cheese into the blender blades to ensure it purees.
  2. Toast 4 slices of your favorite, low sugar 9 grain bread. Spread each with ¼ of the cottage cheese mixture, top with banana slices and chopped macadamia nuts.
