Ingredients

  • 1 cup 4% Friendship Dairies® cottage cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp. fresh basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 14” pre-cooked pizza dough or naan bread
  • 2 slices Genoa salami
  • 2 slices Capocollo salami
  • 10 slices pepperoni, small & thin
  • ½ cup hot Italian sausage, ground and cooked
  • ½ cup sliced banana peppers
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella, part skim
  • Fresh basil leaves, garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F. Drizzle a small amount of olive oil on top of the pizza dough and set aside.
  2. In a food processor, blend the cottage cheese, garlic, basil, salt, crushed red pepper and olive oil until smooth.
  3. Spread cottage cheese blend evenly on top of pizza within ¼ inch of the edges.
  4. Evenly spread all remaining ingredients on top of pizza, starting from meats to peppers. Lastly, top with shredded mozzarella.
  5. Bake on pizza stone for 14 minutes or until cheese is bubble. Broil for 2 minutes until browning on top slightly. Garnish with fresh basil.
