Shawarma Roasted Carrots with Cottage Cheese and Feta Dip
1% Lowfat Cottage Cheese

Ingredients
For the Carrots:- 2 bunches carrots, peeled and trimmed of tops
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. allspice
- 2 tbsp. black pepper
- 2 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. cloves
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 tbsp. nutmeg
- 1 tbsp. cardamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 8 oz. Friendship Dairies® cottage cheese
- 8 oz. feta cheese
- ¼ cup milk of choice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- While the oven preheats, combine the spices for the shawarma seasoning.
- Toss carrots in olive oil and coat in seasoning. Roast carrots for 25 minutes or until tender crisp.
- While roasting, combine ingredients for the whip in a blender and blend until smooth. Whip should be the consistency of mayonnaise.
- Spread whip onto a platter and top with roasted carrots. Garnish with an additional drizzle of olive oil and serve.
